About Rock In Hood
Rock-in-Hood, a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to serving as a beacon of hope and support for youth in underserved communities, striving to uplift and empower them to reach their full potential. Families in these communities often face difficult decisions, such as choosing between paying rent and providing necessities like school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and personal care items such as deodorant and pads for their children. Consequently, many children miss the first few weeks of school because they lack essential supplies. Recognizing this critical need, Rock-In-Hood has been diligently working for over 10 years to ensure that families and children have the resources they need to start the school year successfully.
