The Rock-in-Hood Foundation is thrilled to announce that pre-registration is officially open for the
12th Annual Rock-in-Hood Back to School Event, a community-driven day is dedicated to our youth!

This year, we continue our mission to support the dreams of local students by providing the tools they need to succeed.
During the event we will offer free hair services, uniforms and school supplies (while supplies last).
UNIFORM GIVEAWAY
Please note that while we do our best to provide free uniforms to community members, supplies are given based on availability. We cannot guarantee that every child will receive a uniform, a specific size or color but providing us your child's information helps us try our best to meet the need.
FREE HAIR SERVICES
Our Back-to-School event offers free hair services for children in need, provided by local hairstylists and barbers.
PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS BELOW CAREFULLY:

You must check-in on the day of the event by 9:00 AM in order to be eligible for hair service.

The child's hair MUST be thoroughly cleaned and detangled in order to be eligible for service.

Each child's hair will be assessed for eligibility of service upon check-in.

Hairstylists/barbers have a right to refuse free services based on the condition of the child's hair. (This is never the outcome we want. Please help us to service your child's hair by ensuring it has been washed and detangled.)

Hair service is not guaranteed and is provided on a first come, first served basis. Early arrival is highly encouraged to increase chances of receiving hair service.

Children will receive hair styles from a short, pre-set list of options. Custom hairstyle requests will NOT be honored.
